Shots fired at house in Limerick

Gardai in Limerick are investigating a gun attack on a home in the Lee estate shortly before 11pm last night.

A lone gunman fired a number of shots through the sitting room window before escaping on a bicycle.

A family, including young children, were in the house at the time.

Detectives are currently trying to establish a motive for the attack.
