Ahern and Blair confirm Belfast meeting

An Irish Government spokesman has confirmed that Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will be travelling to Belfast tomorrow at lunchtime for a day of talks with the pro-Agreement parties.

The spokesman said the discussions would follow on from last week’s negotiations involving Mr Ahern and Prime Minister Tony Blair in Downing Street and would start with a round table involving all the parties.
