Labour seeks all-party front against waste bill

Labour has called on Fianna Fail backbenchers and the four Independent TDs supporting the government to refuse to back the Waste Management Bill currently before the Dail.

Deputy Eamon Gilmore claims the proposed legislation will allow incinerators and superdumps to be built without going through normal planning procedures.
