An ambulance service in Limerick has suspended its emergency service since 8am this morning and the 35 members of staff have gone on strike to protest against their working conditions.

The ‘A’ and ‘E’ ambulance crews at the Dooradoyle base have gone on a 16-hour strike over the conditions that they must live in at the base.
