The final arguments are due to be made today in the trial of Mr Daniel O’Toole, who is charged with the murder of garda sergeant Andrew Callanan in Tallaght garda station on the July 21, 1999.

Mr O’Toole, from Cashel Avenue in Crumlin, is facing three charges relating to the death - capital murder, murder and arson.
