Funeral takes place of murdered child

Hundreds of mourners have attended the funeral of eight-year-old Karl Murphy in Ashford, Co Wicklow.

The child was found murdered on Greystones beach on Friday next to the body of his unconscious mother, Ruth Murphy.

Ms Murphy attended today's funeral.
