Man held after Wexford stabbing

A 36-year old man is still being questioned by gardai following a stabbing incident in Co Wexford.

A man in his early twenties is in hospital in a serious but stable condition after he was found with multiple stab wounds to his neck.

He was discovered in the Cornmarket area of Wexford town early this morning.

At around 5.30am, gardai arrested a man in relation to the attack.

He is being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Wexford town Garda station.
