Tourists injured in bus crash

Eighteen American tourists were taken to hospital after the bus they were travelling in was involved in an accident in east Cork.

The bus collided with a bridge near Middleton on the main road between Cork city and Waterford.

None of the eighteen people taken to hospital are believed to be suffering from serious injuries.

The tourists were travelling through the county by bus after arriving in Cobh on a luxury cruise ship.
