EU forum welcomed by Irish Commissioner

Ireland’s EU Commissioner says that he believes that a fully informed Irish electorate will ratify the Nice Treaty if a second referendum is held.

Commissioner David Byrne is welcoming the new proposed forum on Europe, which it is hoped will provide a platform for debate on European Union issues.
