Harney indicates coalition split over refugees

The Tanaiste has told the Dail that the Progressive Democrats hold different views than Fianna Fail on giving asylum seekers the right to work.

Mary Harney said the PDs favour giving refugees work permits after six months but added that as her party has only four seats in the Dail, her hands are tied.
