Man dies in road accident in Kildare

A man has been killed following a road accident in Newbridge, Co Kildare this evening.

The man died in the single-vehicle accident, which occurred shortly after five o’clock this evening, when a pedestrian was struck by a car in the Naas Road area of the town.
