Trimble called on to withdraw resignation

Martin McGuinness of Sinn Fein has warned David Trimble that he should now withdraw his threat of resignation as leader of the Northern Assembly.

Mr McGuinness has also said that in the light of the victory for the Loyalist anti-Good Friday Agreement party, the DUP, it is essential that the parties that support the agreement stick together.
