104 job losses for Co Waterford

Multi-national GlaxoSmithKline has announced the loss of 104 jobs at the company's plant in Dungarvan, Co Waterford.

The announcement is part of a major cost-cutting operation world wide.

The company is stopping production of toothpaste at the Stafford Miller factory in Dungarven.

Its other plants in Ireland are unaffected by the cuts.
