Foley vows to clear his name

Sacked Aer Lingus chief executive Michael Foley has said he is shocked and disturbed by the decision and is hitting out at what he calls a vicious, scurrilous and unfounded campaign.

His response to the news of his sacking was immediate and he has vowed to take all necessary steps to clear his name.
