There is growing concern over the future of the State owned airline, Aer Lingus, following the recent spate of rumours over the Government’s willing to sell the airline.

There is growing concern over the future of the State owned airline, Aer Lingus, following the recent spate of rumours over the Government’s willing to sell the airline.

It has been speculated that the company will be either sold by a trade sale or by public flotation although no firm plans have been announced.

There has been reported interest from large airline companies such as Swissair and British Airways.
