Denis O’Brien testifies at Moriarty Tribunal

Former Esat boss Denis O’Brien has taken the stand at the Moriarty Tribunal and is denying making a $50,000 donation to Fine Gael in 1995.

Mr O’Brien says it would have been wrong to make such a donation in such close proximity to the awarding of the second mobile phone licence to Esat Digifone.
