Put pressure on Sinn Fein says Trimble

David Trimble today called for Sinn Fein to be put in a ‘‘pressure cooker’’ over IRA guns if he is forced to quit as Stormont First Minister.

The Ulster Unionist Party leader urged other parties to stand firm in a bid finally to achieve paramilitary disarmament should he have to carry out his threat to resign on July 1 because decommissioning has not started.
