Body recovered from water in Sligo

The body of a man in his thirties has been recovered from the quay in Sligo.

The body was spotted at the Deepwater Quay at around 9am.

The name of the dead man has not been released but it is understood that he is from the Sligo area.

A Garda investigation into the discovery of the body is continuing.
