The studio of Irish artist Francis Bacon, which has been shipped from London to Dublin, opens today.

The studio of Irish artist Francis Bacon, which has been shipped from London to Dublin, opens today.

The walls, floorboards, ceiling, staircase and entire contents have been successfully reconstructed at the Hugh Lane Gallery on Parnell Square.

The exhibition depicts Bacon's working environment at 7 Reece Mews in London's South Kensington.
