Haughey cannot recall transferred cheques
The Moriarty Tribunal has been told that Charles Haughey claims he has no recollection of cheques drawn from or lodged to the party leader's account, which subsequently ended up in his personal bill-paying account.
Mr Haughey said the monies in his personal account were quite extraordinary and meaningless to him. He also said he hadn't made a bank lodgement in three decades.
