Five veteran Official IRA men who have testified at the Bloody Sunday Inquiry will be put in greater danger if the tribunal hears evidence about them from intelligence sources, their lawyer has claimed.

The five believe the move would allow others to "build up a large ball of mud and throw it straight at them", their barrister told a special sitting of the Saville Inquiry at the Guildhall in Derry.
