Arson attack forces families out of hostel

An arson attack has forced 15 homeless families to flee their Belfast hostel.

A lighted object was thrown into a storeroom in the hostel overnight, causing the fire.

The hostel is located on the peace line which separates the Falls and Shankill Roads.

The families, who are mostly Catholic, will now have to look for other accommodation.

The attack followed clashes in the area between nationalists and loyalists.
