Road victim from Ennis named

Gardai have named one of the victims of the two fatal road accidents in Ennis, Co Clare.

Nineteen-year-old Christopher Rynne fell on the road after leaving a night club in the Rosslevin area and he was subsequently hit by a car.

The youth was from the Heritage area of Ennis.

A 22-year-old French man was questioned by Gardai on suspicion of drink driving but was later released without charge.

Another man remains in a stable condition in hospital following the incident.
