US decision on Real IRA overdue - FG

Fine Gael has welcomed the reported impending categorisation of the Real IRA by the US State Department as an illegal organisation.

The party's justice spokesperson Alan Shatter said the agenda of the RIRA is to destroy the peace process and that it had been using the US to raise funds for that purpose.
