Cork boy dies after tragic accident

A young boy has died from injuries he received in an accident on his sixth birthday.

The boy fell through the roof of a building that was under construction at Summerhill in Mallow, County Cork, last evening.

He was rushed to Mallow General Hospital before being transferred to Cork University Hospital where he has now died.
