Ahern 'wishes Cooper-Flynn well' in libel appeal

The Taoiseach has said he wishes Beverly Cooper-Flynn well in her appeal against the ruling in the RTE libel trial.

Bertie Ahern was speaking after meeting Sinn Fein at Government Buildings this morning.

Ms Cooper-Flynn announced her decision earlier this morning.
