Court told murder accused hit ex-girlfriend and boyfriend

The ex-girlfriend of a Co Galway man accused of the murder and rape of a teenage girl two years ago has told the jury he hit her and her new boyfriend in a fight outside a disco on the night of the killing.

The 26-year-old man denies the murder of the 17-year-old schoolgirl, whose body was found on a beach in Galway by a man out hunting with his dogs.
