Breakthrough in train row

There has been a breakthrough in the current rail dispute with the recommendation of suspension of industrial action by the ATGWU executive.

The union, which is representing the striking drivers, is now entering talks with ICTU to establish a formula whereby drivers' grievances can be addressed in a manner acceptable to both them and the company.
