Poll shows SDLP has double support of Sinn Fein

A private opinion poll conducted for the SDLP indicates the party has over twice the number of supporters as Sinn Fein.

The poll of 1,500 people was conducted by the Market Research Bureau during March and shows the SDLP with 33%, compared to Sinn Fein's 15%, the Ulster Unionists on 23% and the DUP with just 11%.
