Robinson names 16 he claims are in IRA

The Deputy leader of the DUP Peter Robinson has named 16 people who he claims to be high-ranking members of the IRA.

Seven of them are believed to be on the IRA's army council with the remainder filling other notable positions within the organisation.

Mr Robinson used his parliamentary privilege to name them.
