Proposed improvement of Lansdowne Road

The government is being urged to redevelop the Lansdowne Road stadium as a venue instead of the proposed new national stadium.

Labour TD, Mary Upton, said that the renovation of the national stadium for rugby and soccer combined with the improvements to Croke Park would provide two centrally located sporting facilities in the capital.
