The Minister for Foreign Affairs Brian Cowen has been struck by a motorbike in the centre of Dublin.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs Brian Cowen has been struck by a motorbike in the centre of Dublin.

Minister Cowen was crossing the road to his Department at Iveagh House on St Stephens Green when the accident happened.

It is understood the Minister has been checked by a doctor in the wake of the accident.
