Northern Ireland Secretary John Reid was under fire tonight from the Ulster Unionists after he criticised their ban on Sinn Fein ministers attending meetings of cross-border bodies.

North Belfast MP Cecil Walker rounded on the minister after he claimed in a radio interview that Stormont education minister Martin McGuinness and health minister Bairbre de Brun "shouldn’t be treated as second class citizens".
