Judges' conduct referendum postponed

The Government must return to the drawing board over its planned referendum on constitutional changes to make the judiciary more accountable.

The proposed date of June 7 has been abandoned after failure by the Minister for Justice to agree to a timetable with Fine Gael and Labour to debate the legislation.
