The Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble has said he is still considering a request for a meeting from Gerry Adams over his continuing ban against the two Sinn Fein Stormont ministers attending cross-border bodies.

Gerry Adams has described the ban as "untenable" and said there is serious pressure on him from his party's grass roots to have it lifted.
