Gardai probe four Cork deaths
Gardai are now investigating two further deaths in the Cork area, bringing to four the number of fatalities inside 24 hours.
A youngster was killed in a tragic accident involving a light plane and the bodies of three other men have been found in separate locations.
A 17-year-old died instantly last evening at Macroney near Fermoy when he backed into the propeller of a micro light plane as he was helping a neighbour prepare it for its first flight.
Meanwhile, Bandon gardai are continuing to investigate the suspicious death of a 40-year-old Dublin man who was found yesterday evening lying face down in a pool of blood in a flat in the town.
Concerned neighbours had reported not seeing him for a number of days.
In Cork city this morning, the body of a night watchman was found in a security hut on a building site at Bakers Road.
It is thought the man was overcome by fumes from a heater.
In a separate incident, a house in Douglas Street in the city centre has been sealed off after a man's body was found there just after dawn.
There are no further details on that case at present.
