FMD restrictions expected to be eased

The Government is expected to signal a further relaxation of its foot-and-mouth restrictions today.

Agriculture Minister Joe Walsh will authorise easing nationwide livestock movement and other restrictions after discussions with a specialist advisory committee of experts.
