Twenty-eight people have been charged with public order offences in Dublin after disturbances on O' Connell Street last night.

Twenty-eight people have been charged with public order offences in Dublin after disturbances on O' Connell Street last night.

Two Gardai were injured and the rear window of a Garda car was smashed when around 200 Celtic supporters began celebrating the team's win over Rangers yesterday.

The incident started at about 7.30pm last night when Celtic fans poured onto the streets and began fighting among themselves according to the Gardai.
