CAB interview rogue livestock dealer Walsh

The livestock dealer who imported animals infected with foot-and-mouth disease into south Armagh days before the scare hit Britain has been interviewed by Gardai.

John Walsh arrived at Dublin airport last evening on a flight from the north of England and was met by officers of the Criminal Assets Bureau.

The CAB has already served a tax demand, thought to amount to several hundred thousand pounds, on Walsh.
