Three in hospital after punishment attacks

A third man is in hospital in the North this morning following a paramilitary-style punishment attack in Belfast overnight.

A third man is in hospital in the North this morning following a paramilitary-style punishment attack in Belfast overnight.

The 34-year-old was badly beaten in the Ards Drive area of Monkstown last night and suffered fractures to both arms and legs.

Two 18-year-olds remain in hospital after they were shot in the right leg in the Greenmount area of the city.
