No rail fare increases planned

Iarnrod Eireann has rejected claims that it is planning to hike up fares in an effort to ease overcrowding on the DART and suburban trains into and out of Dublin.

The company said despite a consultant report on the issue, it remains committed to improving its services and getting more people to use public transport.
