Hand grenade attack in Derry

A hand grenade was thrown at a police station in Derry in what is believed to be a terrorist attack, the RUC said.

The grenade was thrown at the side wall of the Strand Road RUC station at around 10pm last night but fell short of its target and exploded in the street.
