Health agency agrees to go to LRC re doctors' pay
The average income for junior doctors has risen by £20,000 per year as a direct result of last year's agreement with the Irish Medical Organisation, according to the Health Services Employers Agency.
The HSEA said tonight that it is willing to go to the Labour Relations Commission to discuss doctors' grievances and abide by the outcome, one way or the other.
The Agency's statement has come in response to threats of strike action by the IMO at their annual conference in Kerry today.
