Boyzone's Mikey Graham calls off UK tour

Boyzone's Mikey Graham has cancelled his UK tour.

The Irish star has been ordered to rest after collapsing with nervous exhaustion earlier this month.

He was due to begin the 18-date tour on April 25.

His current single You Could Be My Everything failed to make an impression on the UK charts, which his record company is blaming on the British music industry.

Managing Director of Public Records John Campbell said: "He will be doing another tour, although at the moment we don't know when.

"Mikey needs to get support from radio and TV, which he's not getting at the moment," he said. "His album has had brilliant reviews but not one national radio station in the UK would play his single and we don't know why."

According to Campbell, Mikey Graham is doing very well in Europe.

"In Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Mikey's doing as well as Ronan Keating, and perhaps even better. Quite frankly, at the moment I'm ashamed to be part of the British music industry when they won't support an act like this."
