Walsh hits out at 'anti-national' farmers

The Minister for Agriculture has hit out at farmers who he says are not fully committed to preventing the spread of foot-and-mouth disease in the Republic.

In his strongest condemnation yet of those who are withholding information on smuggling and the illegal movement of livestock, Joe Walsh said that "the time for playing games with the authorities is well past".
