American company to create 69 jobs in Knock

Nearly 70 new jobs are to be created at Knock Airport under a £1.8m investment by a new high tech firm.

Nearly 70 new jobs are to be created at Knock Airport under a £1.8m investment by a new high tech firm.

The new company will be working in the area of CDs and DVDs. Xonen Technologies will create the jobs at Knock Airport over the next two years.

The project is being supported by Enterprise Ireland and comes at a time when the Government and the IDA have been under pressure to get more jobs into western areas.
