FMD crisis causes increase in calls to the Samaritans

The Samaritans are receiving calls from people hit by the foot-and-mouth crisis amid fears large parts of the country are heading into a bleak year.

The body has launched a special "emergency rural stress campaign" to help people affected by foot-and-mouth.
