DeBrun to launch health report in North

The North's Health Minister, Bairbre de Brun will today launch a report proposing new ways to monitor and improve standards in the health service.

The report calls for a more focused approach towards the development and dissemination of health service standards and guidelines in Northern Ireland.

The Sinn Fein Minister says that while the vast majority of health service users in the North are treated equally and effectively, there are still some unacceptable variations in the quality of care and treatment.
