Minister accused by Fine Gael

Fine Gael has accused the Minister for Agriculture of sitting on his hands in relation to sheep smuggling.

Leader Michael Noonan told the Dail that this lack of action had contributed greatly to the foot-and-mouth crisis.

But the Taoiseach told the house there has been no evidence of smuggling since the crisis began.
