The Defence Forces have launched a major recruitment drive to fill vacancies in the Army, Aer Corps and the Navy.

The Defence Forces have launched a major recruitment drive to fill vacancies in the Army, Aer Corps and the Navy.

More than 20 new recruits are required for the Aer Corps, 100 for the Navy and 920 for the Army.

Defence Minister Michael Smith says pay in the sector is very competitive for new recruits.
